Questflow, a platform orchestrating AI agents for the multi-agent economy, has raised $6.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by CyberFund with participation from Delphi Labs, Systemic Ventures, Eden Block, White Star Capital, Web3.com, Animoca Brands, HashKey Capital, Wagmi Ventures, ElizaOS, the Tezos Foundation, and CatcherVC. The company also received grants from Aptos, Coinbase Developer Platform, and Virtuals Protocol.
The funding will support Questflow’s goal of building an always-on AI workforce that automates workflows for businesses and individuals on-chain, while maintaining human oversight for essential tasks.
Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol Enables AI Coordination
Questflow’s core technology, the Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol (MAOP), allows multiple AI agents to communicate, collaborate, and transact seamlessly on-chain. This protocol moves beyond isolated AI systems by enabling coordinated task execution with human review for critical decisions.
“Our mission is to create an AI agent economy capable of serving any workflow,” said Bob Xu, co-founder and CEO of Questflow. “From individual entrepreneurs to enterprise teams, everyone should have access to an AI workforce that is always active, transparent, and easy to manage.”
Bridging the Gap Between AI and Blockchain
Today’s AI agents are typically siloed and lack blockchain integration. Questflow addresses this with two key orchestration models.
Task orchestration lets AI swarms complete multi-step workflows across Web2 tools like Notion, Airtable, and Google Workspace, as well as Web3 dApps and protocols.
Token orchestration gives each AI agent an on-chain wallet, enabling real-time micropayments and agent-to-agent transactions, transforming AI agents into true economic participants.
Early Momentum and Growing Ecosystem
Questflow has already gained recognition from a16z, Cohere, and MongoDB. It was selected for the Google for Startups program and became Product of the Day on Product Hunt.
The company is expanding its network of partners, including Google, Coinbase Developer Platform, Circle, Aptos, Near, CoinGecko, and Jambo Phone, building a bridge between Web2 and Web3 environments for broader adoption.
Building the AI Workforce Flywheel
Questflow’s on-chain flywheel is designed to grow a scalable AI agent economy through four stages:
- Create – Developers can build, deploy, and monetize AI swarms with a no-code editor and SDK, each paired with an on-chain wallet.
- Use – End users can manage swarms to automate workflows while maintaining oversight of critical actions.
- Pay – Transparent, real-time micropayments ensure instant and fair compensation for AI agents.
- Tokenize – Communities can launch and govern AI swarms through tokenization, enabling shared ownership and participation.
“Giving each AI agent a wallet is only the beginning,” Xu explained. “The real breakthrough is allowing agents to collaborate, earn, and transact autonomously, creating a self-sustaining AI workforce economy.”
Scaling the Next Phase of AI Collaboration
With fresh funding, Questflow plans to scale its orchestration capabilities, introduce ecosystem incentives, and open the MAOP protocol to developers and partners for real-world use cases.
As AI and blockchain technologies converge, Questflow is positioned to unify disconnected AI systems and enable anyone to deploy an on-chain AI workforce that combines the reliability of software with the adaptability of human teams.
By enabling permissionless creation, coordination, and monetization of AI agents, Questflow is laying the groundwork for a decentralized AI Agent Economy where intelligent agents collaborate, transact, and generate value autonomously.
